During ear surgeries, surgeons need to use the microscope and an endoscope. Handling both apparatus during surgeries becomes an inconvenience for the surgeons. Dr. Mubarak Khan, a well known surgeon, had a concept for an endoscope holder which he wanted to develop into a commercial product.

JUSTTACH is an endoholder device that helps surgeons perform ear surgeries conveniently.

The most important part of the project was to design the product in a way that it could be completely disassembled and every part material could sustain auto-claving (sterilization) for 150-200 degrees celsius for 15-30 minutes without change in its material properties. 

The Manus VR Glove is a high-end data glove that brings intuitive interaction to virtual reality. The glove can track hand position, orientation and movement which can be used to generate a model of the hand in a Virtual environment. Manus VR wanted to develop a VR peripheral which can be used in combination with their glove to provide haptic feedback to the user.

To understand the technology and its influence on people an extensive research was conducted to study the VR culture and ergonomics in VR. Based on insights from this research, some product concepts were generated.

I created this speaker to learn and enhance my free-form CAD modelling and digital prototyping skills. I used an old JBL Go bluetooth speaker to understand speaker construction and basic electronics. Since the speaker body was based around the electronics, I adopted a 'forms follows function' approach, however to get inspiration I created a moodboard.

Quality of sound from the speaker depends upon the correct relation between speaker cone size and speaker box volume. This was as important consideration while designing the body of the speaker. It was important for me to create a speaker which would be aesthetically pleasing but also provides good sound quality, thus I also added a passive radiator that could be 3d printed with flexible material and would improve the sound quality of the speaker.   

Professional road cyclists experience foot injuries due to problems in the foot-pedal interface. These problems can sometimes be corrected using wedges or Pronation/Supination insoles. However, these problems may persist due to the cyclists foot anatomy and plantar pressure during cycling. Professional Cycling Team Sunweb and performance materials manufacturer Low & Bonar wanted to find a solution to these problems.

This Orthotic insole development system was derived from our research and the most appropriate development/measurement methods. To validate and improve this system, we collaborated with Team Sunweb and used this system to create customized insoles for two professional cyclists from their team.

Xtreme insoles are a part of the Xtreme product-service system which helps podiatrists and bike fitters develop custom 3D printed insoles for professional cyclists.

To relate to the mindful user, I started the design process by making collages about their lifestyle, their emotions and the memetic aspects of products that they commonly use. These collages were referred for inspiration throughout design process.
