NINAD SHITOOT

I consider myself an optimist with a solution-oriented outlook. My project and experiences have strengthened my belief that research, hands on product design, technology integration and responsible initiative are my key strengths.

I completed my Master in Integrated Product Design from TU Delft, Netherlands and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from India. I have worked in the field of product design and development for over 8 years and I love improving people’s experiences using technology through conscious innovation.

I have worked with emerging technologies like rapid prototyping, virtual/augmented reality, internet of things and emerging materials like shape memory alloys and microstructure materials. I have also worked professionally with companies like Tata, Manus VR, Low & Bonar, Toyota Motor, Carice B.V and Dyson

I have a special interest in Ergonomics and Biomimicry. Most of my projects involve some level of physical or cognitive ergonomics study because I believe the human aspect of product design is challenging and equally rewarding. I am also certified in Biomimicry which helps me extract inspiration and knowledge from nature’s genius solutions to make products simple and sustainable.
